Metina Australia Pty. Ltd. (MAPL) was established in 2019 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Metina Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, with the objective of strengthening our presence in regulated markets and facilitating operations in Australia.
As a local Marketing Authorization Holder, MAPL plays a critical role in bridging the gap between our international manufacturing partners and regional marketing partners, regulatory authorities, healthcare providers and distribution channels. Products registered by MAPL meet regulatory, safety and operational standards, while accelerating access to high-quality, affordable medicines for patients in Australia and neighbouring markets.
The entity provides end-to-end support for:
Acting as the authorized local representative for product submission, holding product registration, variation filings, and life cycle management in compliance with TGA and other regulatory frameworks
Supporting local pharmacovigilance obligations, including adverse event reporting and risk management activities
Executing license and supply contracts with local companies to enable product commercialisation
In addition to commercialising its own portfolio via local marketing partners, MAPL can independently act as a local partner or representative for other pharmaceutical companies, providing end-to-end support in regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, market access and distribution within the region.
